Pastors Brian and Dena Norvell

Pastor Brian grew up in Central Kansas and then moved to Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible College graduating with an emphasis on missions. Brian married his best friend and love
of his life, Dena. They have 4 wonderful children: Brianna, Kelsi, Perla and Ross. They also have gained an amazing son- in- law, Moises, as well as, their first grandchild Prince.

After Graduating from Bible College, Brian and Dena served as missionaries for 2 1/2 years in Guatemala working with the church, Palabra En Acción. Following that assignment, they answered a call to plant and pastor a Spanish speaking church, Iglesia de La Cosecha, in Great Bend, Kansas for 8 years. Brian and Dena have always had a strong heart for missions, so after Pastoring in Kansas they moved to Mazátlan, Mexico founding and pastoring, La Mision Sagrada for 7 years. During that time, God placed a passion and desire to return to Kansas. Brian and Dena founded The Hub of Indy Church in 2015 starting in the local movie theater. Since then, they have added a second campus in Cherryvale. In 2020, The Hub purchased the former Dollar General Store on West Main that has become their new home.

Brian enjoys construction projects, traveling the world, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, spending time with his family and being Papo. Dena enjoys traveling, coffee, time with her family, being Prince’s Coco and reading. Brian and Dena have a passion to reach Montgomery County and to see people's lives forever transformed through the love of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pastors Moises and Brianna Rivera

Hey what’s up my name is Moises David Rivera and my wife is Brianna Lee Rivera we're both from big cities but God has called us and placed us in the Midwest. A little of a background story I was born and raised in Miami Florida, my wife was born in Great Bend, Kansas but was raised majority of her life in Mazatlan, Mexico. We both grew up in big city environments. I think it’s funny that God would call us to lead a powerful church in Mid-America. How we got to Kansas is two completely different stories with a lot of similarities. I originally came to Kansas to play collegiate football where I played for two years then went on to sign with a Canadian University. Shortly after signing I got saved and decided to hang up my cleats and follow Jesus.  After hanging my cleats I decide to get involved in church serving in anyway I can from weekly clean ups,  maintenance, youth ministry, radio station ministry, and  hosting Sunday services. A few years later I met my wife as I was promoting a youth camp for the church I was serving at. She was doing Youth ministry as well at the Hub Church in Independence. I found that very interesting, so I asked for her number for a quote on quote ministry reasons. A year later we end up dating and getting married. Two years later we had our first son Prince David Rivera on our wedding anniversary July 22.

We have been called to lead the church in Cherryvale. God has given us a Prophetic word “small-town revival”. So my wife and I believe that God will use the Hub Church for a great revival all over Montgomery county, that’s already happening. As I prayed I heard within me these words. “The cherryvale church will be a place where thousands will come black, white and hispanic, healing and restoration will take place.  Joy and peace with signs and wonders taking place, the town Cherryvale will be known for the move of God taking place and families will gather to praise and worship the true living God.”
